I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating significant life transitions—whether it’s changing a career, beginning or ending an intimate relationship, processing grief, living with a chronic illness, or outgrowing familiar patterns of behavior. I also specialize in working with those raised in dysfunctional or alcoholic families.

I have worked in the mental health field since 2008 and feel deeply fortunate to have supported many resilient, creative, and unique adults, teenagers, and children. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wheaton College in Massachusetts and earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2016 from Naropa University’s three-year Contemplative Psychotherapy program in Boulder, Colorado. I am a certified Mindfulness Instructor, a trained birth and postpartum Doula, and a certified yoga teacher. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina (#13940) and also provide telehealth services in Florida.

My therapeutic approach helps clients cultivate deeper awareness, joy, acceptance, and purpose in their lives. I work to help people access the wisdom that lives in the body. By offering a space of compassion and non-judgment, clients feel comfortable exploring shame, fear, confusion, doubt, and other challenging states of mind.

I support clients with gentleness, spaciousness, and focused attention as they develop the skills to put thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations into words. Therapy encourages connection to more parts of yourself, and through a present, collaborative, and curious approach, habitual thinking and behavior become clearer, offering greater choice in your life. In my experience, as we cultivate a relationship with our own discomfort, we often discover increased fulfillment, ease, and joy. By becoming more acquainted with ourselves, we can experience deeper connection, nourishment, and ease in our relationships.

It is my intention that our therapeutic relationship provide a space for you to begin—or continue—the process of exploring both the conscious and unconscious parts of your experience. By deepening your relationship with yourself, you naturally enhance the quality of your relationships with others.
